Report an error
This site is maintained by volunteers, and mistakes happen: a requirement copied wrong, an outdated answer, a broken link or image. If you find one, please tell us so everyone benefits from the fix.
What to include
Section titled “What to include”A good report lets us fix the problem without having to ask you again:
- The page. Copy the address from your browser (for example
/honors/camping-skills-i/). If you used the “Report it” link at the bottom of a page, it is filled in for you. - What is wrong. Quote the sentence, requirement number or image that has the problem.
- What it should say. Write the correct text, if you know it.
- Where the correct information comes from, if you have a source: the official requirements from your division or conference, a book, or a website.
- A screenshot, if the problem is about how the page looks.
What you can report
Section titled “What you can report”- Requirements that do not match the official ones approved by your division or conference.
- Answer keys with wrong, unsafe or outdated information. Safety topics (first aid, water, fire, climbing) are fixed first.
- Missing answers that you are able to write.
- Images that are wrong, broken or show the wrong patch.
- Links that are broken or go to the wrong place.
- Translations and spelling.
- The site itself: search or filters that do not work, pages that are hard to read on your phone.
Before you report
Section titled “Before you report”- Official requirements come from your division or conference. This is an unofficial site; when it disagrees with an official source, the official source is right, and we want to know about it.
- The same honor can have different requirements in different territories. Check the approval authority on the honor page (General Conference, a division, a union…) before reporting a difference: it may be a different version of the honor, not a mistake.
- “No answer yet” on an answer key means nobody has written that answer. It is not an error, but if you can write one, send it.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”Every report is read by a person. Corrections are made in the site’s content files, so each change is recorded in its history. Reports about safety are handled first. If you left your email, we may write back with questions or to let you know it is fixed.
