Balloon Modelling
Overview
Balloon modelling can not only be a fun hobby, but also a powerful tool to engage people, and communicate Christian values and object lessons. Balloon modelling can hold people’s attention and is a poignant reminder when given as a gift to take home.
This honour will take the participant through the basic skills of balloon modelling and give some examples and resources to develop an outreach ministry with balloons.
Requirements
1. List the tools and equipment required for basic balloon modelling.
2. Demonstrate the following basic balloon modelling twists:
- a. Lock twist
- b. Loop twist
- c. Pinch twist
- d. Tulip twist
3. Demonstrate how to make five different balloon sculptures incorporating the above twists.
4. Prepare and demonstrate to an audience one object lesson or story including balloon modelling.
