Overview
Learn the art of beading.
Requirements
1. Know the history of beaded crafts (beads).
2. Know the following techniques: cross, mosaic, braiding, threading, column, weaving.
3. Know the tools and materials for threading.
4. Show the principles of making a single thread chain (puffballs, curve, six-petal flower, flower chains).
5. Make two-strand chains: rings, rhombuses, two-row chain of rings.
6. Make mosaic cords: “mosaic” chain, daisies, voluminous cord, braid.
7. Know how to make woven items (ornaments) from beads.
8. Make two crafts: a butterfly, a flower, a crocodile, a snowflake (sunshine), or something of your choice.
