Bushcraft Food: Answer Key
1. Have the Fire Building & Camp Cookery Honor.
2. What is bushcraft food?
3. Participate in a camp where at least three meals consist of bushcraft food. Prepare a balanced menu for these meals.
4. Prepare three of the following foods (attach recipes containing ingredients and instructions):
4a. Bolo de fubá (Cornmeal cake) on banana leaf
4b. Hunter’s bread
4c. Bread on embers
4d. Egg on a skewer
4e. Egg in a paper box
4f. Fried egg on a forked stick
4g. Egg in clay or orange peel
4h. Sweet banana on embers
4i. Stuffed potato
4j. Rice with greens
4k. Soup
5. Improvise and use handcrafted pots, cups, plates, and cutlery.
