Green Building: Answer Key
1. Explain what green building is.
2. Bring a catalogue of the different materials used, explain their use and their interest on the environment and on people.
3. Set up the plants of your house or the ones you would like to have later and explain the choice of materials to be used for green building.
4. In what geographical location would you build your house and with what orientation in relation to the cardinal points?
5. What would you use for heating and why?
6. What are the species of trees or bushes that can be planted in the garden and that are important to prevent or ward off attacks by xylophagous (wood-eating) insects?
