Sheep Husbandry

Overview

Now you have the chance to become a shepherd! It’s not just Bible stories, but rather a significantly challenging country-living honor that will prepare you and train you to care for sheep. If you have a 4-H club or similar junior-age animal raising club in your community, you might find this a helpful addition to their training!

Requirements

1. What kinds of areas do sheep naturally inhabit?

2. What kind of vegetation furnishes the feed most ideal for sheep?

3. What type of shelter or barn should be provided for sheep?

4. How much space is needed for each animal in the following conditions:
