1. Summarize the history of the creation and development of skates.
2. Describe the safety equipment used in skating.
3. Mention at least three sports in which skates are used.
4. Describe the difference between the following types of skates:
4a. Roller
4b. Traditional
4c. Ice
5. For each of the types of skates mentioned in requirement 4, mention:
5a. Appropriate place for use
5b. At least 3 events in which each type is used
5c. Advantages provided by the model
5d. Disadvantages
6. Know how to complete maintenance on the skates and explain it (choose a type that can be used in your region).
7. Perform the following while skating:
7a. Know how to increase speed
7b. Know how to brake quickly
7c. Skate backwards
7d. Increase speed and glide, squatting for at least 5 meters
7e. Change directions (right and left)
7f. Speed up and jump over an object
7g. Make a 360° turn on one foot
8. Research one of the sports events in requirement 3 and mention the rules, the level of the competences, and the categories and interesting information about the sport.
