Requirements

1. Provide a general classification of shelters/huts.

2. Learn how to properly build a shelter in a wetland.

3. List at least six characteristics that a good shelter site should have.

4. Learn how building shelters/huts can negatively affect wildlife and where camping is prohibited by law.

5. Build a ground-based camp bed and a tree/freestanding camp bed.

9. Spend at least one night in the shelter you built in steps #6 or #8.

10. Build a quick, temporary shelter for at least two (up to eight) people, using two, four, or more tent poles.
