Overview
This is a science-focused space study unit that combines astronomy, object identification, and theological interpretation using the Bible.
Requirements
1. What is the Universe and what does it include?
2. Name the components of the Solar System.
3. What is a star and what are the different types of stars?
4. What are exoplanets? Types of exoplanets.
5. What is a nebula? Types of nebulae.
6. What are star clusters? Types of star clusters.
7. What is a galaxy? Types of galaxies.
8. What are pulsars and neutron stars?
9. What are quasars?
10. What are black holes? Types of black holes.
11. What are dark matter and dark energy?
12. Be able to distinguish stars, planets, quasars, galaxies, pulsars, nebulae, and black holes from pictures.
13. Share three interesting facts about the universe or its components.
14. Find three Bible verses that speak of the universe.
15. Prove from the Bible that the universe is inhabited by intelligent beings.
